CEE Digital Coalition, a gathering of the digital industry organizations from Central and Eastern Europe awarded Cecilia Bonefeld-Dahl, Director General of DIGITALEUROPE and Eva Maydell, Member of the European Parliament with CEE Digital Trident 2024 during the recent CEE Digital Summit in Warsaw. The Coalition recognised their efforts for fostering digital advancements in the region.

During the recent CEE Digital Summit Warsaw 2024 - a conference bringing together Central Eastern European industry leaders, policy-makers, academics and experts involved in digital transformation - it was announced that Cecilia Bonefeld-Dahl, Director General of DIGITALEUROPE and Member of the European Parliament Eva Maydell were the laureates of this year’s CEE Digital Trident award. The award, granted annually by CEE Digital Coalition since October 2022 is supposed to express gratitude and praise for individuals, making an effort to advance digital transformation and technological progress in Central Eastern Europe.

Cecilia Bonefeld-Dahl was appreciated as one of the strongest voices of digitally transforming industries in Europe - We appreciate the laureate for recognising our region’s unique identity, its great potential and sharing our vision of competitive, innovative and technologically advanced Central Eastern Europe - says Michał Kanownik, President of Digital Poland Association and initiator of the CEE Digital Coalition.

Eva Maydell was recognised by CEE Digital Coalition recognizes for her ongoing dedication to sound regulatory activity in the EU. - We want to praise her willingness to consider different perspectives and ensure they are reflected in European regulations, as well as deep interest and involvement in the field of digital and understanding of the significance of transformation for our region – Michał Kanownik explained while announcing the winners of CEE Digital Trident 2024 in Warsaw.
